In case you don’t know me, my husband, Denny, and I have grown four children, a son-in-law, and adorable grandchildren. We live on a farm and love the country.
Writing charges my batteries. I have been published in a variety of places over the past fifteen years and have studied at writers’ conferences coast to coast. As a writer and a speaker I have won and judged contests, although not at the same time.:) I teach writing workshops and at conferences. My passion is writing young adult novels.
I also write for Examiner.com as the Pittsburgh Christian Living Examiner reporting on local news and events from a Christian perspective.
With Bucketfillers for Life, Inc. I present anti-bullying programs. These assemblies and workshops teach students they have the power to choose to be kind and caring.
To help my husband I worked as his dental practice bookkeeper and office manager for thirty-one years.
My current roles include marketing/PR director board member for National Speakers Association Pittsburgh and past-president of New Castle’s First Toastmasters.
For fun I enjoy reading, hiking, boating, and travel. I especially like to kayak.
Many writers have a famous author they relate to. I identify with Louisa May Alcott. The actress I’m like? Carol Burnett. J.
Life is crazy. At least I get to write about it.
